In just one term as your Third Ward Councilman, Greg has proven to be accessible and already has a long list of accomplishments in making neighborhoods in Avenel and Port Reading better places to live.
In his first four years serving you as councilman, Greg has responded to approx. 1,200 inquiries and concerns of third-ward residents, established truck restrictions on Avenel Street and Port Reading Avenue, created neighborhood watch programs in Port Reading and Avenel, cleaned up graffiti throughout the Third Ward, launched Avenel Community Day, worked with the Port Reading Saints to repave Saints Boulevard and much more.
Always focused on the community, Greg served as President of the Friends of the Libraries of Woodbridge Township, a Commissioner of the Barron Arts Center and Vice Chair of the St. James Parish Council.
Greg is seeking re-election to continue his hard work to make our town the best it can be for all of us - our seniors, families and youth.

• Proud graduate of Woodbridge High School, where he was senior
class vice president and captain of the cross
country team
• Met his wife, Gina, at WHS; they are the proud parents of
Megan and Ryan

• Created neighborhood watch programs in Port Reading and Avenel
• Cleaned up graffiti throughout the Third Ward
• Launched Avenel Community Day
• Worked with the Port Reading Saints to repave Saints Boulevard
and improve the playground and pumping system
• Secured funding to help the Port Reading Fire Company and
First Aid Squad purchase a new fire engine and ambulance
• Installed newer playground equipment in all Third Ward parks
• Added lighting to improve visibility of signs at Cloverleaf
Apartments in Avenel
• Obtained money to reconstruct and widen the Blair Road
railroad crossing
• Overseen the annual audit of the township's financial
statements, controls and processes
If re-elected, Greg will continue his hard work and enthusiasm to:
• Respond to your questions and concerns with prompt action
• Provide efficient and effective local government services
• Develop programs to build and celebrate our community in
the Third Ward
• Provide all of us (including his young family) with a
community that we can be proud to call home
Greg is an important member of Mayor John E. McCormac's Team, which is continually improving neighborhoods through- out the Township.
The McCormac Team's Town-wide Accomplishments:
• Cracked down on illegal housing
• Increased property maintenance enforcement
• Built a state-of-the-art animal shelter
• Introduced free bulk waste pick-up and a recycling
drop-off center
• Improved parks and playgrounds and added open space
• Shared and consolidated services with other
municipalities and our school district
• Installed solar panels on municipal buildings
• Improved Senior Citizen programs such as Tommy Tool Box
• Received recognition as a Wellness Community and a
Preserve America Town
• Brought more special events and arts programs to Woodbridge,
such as a Farmers Market, Senior Olympics, Big Wheels Day,
Music on Main, Woodbridge Idol, Woodbridge Youth
Community Players, New Horizons Band and the
Community Chorus
