Cameras to be placed at some red light

Program to be part of statewide pilot program, will cost $5,195 a month

A s part of the state's exploratory redlight camera pilot program, Woodbridge Township will participate in implementing four red-light cameras at four intersections along Route 1.

Woodbridge senior club slates events



The Woodbridge Senior Citizen Club will hold business meetings at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 and Oct. 16 in McCorristin Hall, the basement of St. James Roman Catholic Church at the intersection Main Street and Amboy Avenue.

People who are interested in joining the club must be 60 years old and belong to no other senior citizen club.

Major road projects in Woodbridge on track

Public Works projects to resurface and repair roads are on track for the year, despite skyrocketing costs in fuel and asphalt.

Project aims to restore wetlands around turnpike rest stop in Woodbridge

Fire districts in Woodbridge could merge in effort to cut costs

Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac has made it a priority from day one in office to clean up Route 1 through the Avenel section of the township. Hallelujah!
