From 1916 to 1984, an energy company from Texas known as El Paso operated an industrial site in the Keasbey section of Woodbridge, doing business when scant attention was paid to the effect such sites would have on the environment. Woodbridge proper makes list of Top 20 healthiest places to retire

CNN Money magazine has named Woodbridge proper, a section of the fifth largest township in the state, as one of the top 20 healthiest places to retire.
The section is the largest of the 10 sections of the township, with 18,100 residents. Thirty-two percent of the population is 50 years old or older.

WOODBRIDGE — After a successful first year, the township is gearing up for the second year of Tour de Woodbridge on Sept. 27 rain or shine.
